The production facility operates under the highest international food quality standards, the manufacturing of AQVOA® is subject to a quality management process that includes a valid International Featured Standards (IFS) Food Certification and a valid BRC Global Standard (BRCGS) Food Safety Certification. But that’s just the beginning.

Post-production, AQVOA® undergoes rigorous independent testing by the DAkkS-accredited Institut Kurz based in Cologne, Germany. Institut Kurz, Cologne is the food supplement testing partner of TÜV SÜD.
The Institut Kurz carries out laboratory testing of AQVOA® for selected microbiological contaminants, heavy metals, and polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons to ensure that the food supplement is safe for consumption, based on EU standards for food safety. Institut Kurz also carries out quantitative chemical analysis of AQVOA® to determine whether the active ingredients declared on the label are present in the final product.
Furthermore, Institut Kurz checks the formulation and label for compliance with EU and German food and food supplement regulations, including whether the daily recommended serving quantities of the active ingredients are within the safe limits recommended by the Federal Institute for Risk Assessment (BfR).
Based on the test reports generated by Institut Kurz, the quality of AQVOA® is confirmed by German state-certified food chemists for placing AQVOA® on the German market. These quality confirmation and analytical test reports are available below.
With all these stringent measures in place, you can trust that AQVOA® meets the highest German standards of food quality and safety. Nevertheless, if you as our respected customer are not satisfied with the quality of AQVOA® for any reason, please send us the product you purchased stating your reason and we will provide you with a replacement.
The IFS Food Standard reviews the products and production processes to evaluate a food producer’s ability to produce safe, authentic, and quality products according to legal requirements and customer specifications. It supports businesses in meeting the growing transparency and traceability demands in the market and contributes to improving product integrity and increasing efficiency. Qualified IFS Auditors working for independent accredited certification bodies carry out the audits.
IFS Standards are subject to assessments by governmental or private organisations. The IFS Standards being eligible for accreditation is a prerequisite for certification bodies to perform the IFS Audits. IFS cooperates with the national accreditation body, Deutsche Akkreditierungsstelle (DAkkS) in Germany and is a member of the European Accreditation (EA) and International Accreditation Forum (IAF). The International Accreditation Forum (IAF) and IFS Management GmbH have signed a Scheme Endorsement Agreement to endorse the IFS Food scheme as a sub-scope of the IAF Multilateral Recognition Arrangement (MLA).
The DAkkS is the national accreditation body of Germany. Its shareholders are the federal government, the federal states and the German Industry, represented by the Federation of German Industries. DAkkS verifies the conformity of private standards such as IFS with accreditation rules. The IFS Food Standards are included in the DAkkS accreditation program and classified as eligible for accreditation.
The BRCGS Food Safety Global Standard is the most widely accepted food safety standard in the world. It has set the benchmark for nearly 25 years. Adopted by over 22,000 sites in more than 130 countries, the standard is accepted by 70% of the top 10 global retailers, 60% of the top 10 quick-service restaurants, and 50% of the top 25 manufacturers. Now in its 9th edition, the standard has constantly evolved to protect the consumer.
It was the first standard to be Global Food Safety Initiative (GFSI) benchmarked, as well as introduce food safety culture requirements, define food fraud, and reduce audit burden through additional modules. Developed with input from industry, it provides a framework to manage product safety, integrity, legality and quality, and the operational controls for these criteria in the food and food ingredient manufacturing, processing and packing industry.
The BRCGS Food Safety standard is also the leading GFSI scheme, and the most widely accepted by specifiers, brands and retailers. Manufacturers with the BRCGS certification have many food safety benefits and have been shown to perform better than both non-certified sites, as well as those with other GFSI programmes.
A clear point of difference between BRCGS Food Safety and other certification schemes is a compliance programme that provides control over the operational delivery of its certification programmes. This includes delivery partner performance management, and management of auditor competence based on exams and food safety training.
